A Refreshing Look for this Company, Finally!

Of the many website projects we've had the opportunity of working on this year, one that we're excited to unveil is for this Burton, Ohio based company, Nectar of the Vine. Their website story is an example of a "do-it-yourself" template, gotten via a well-known web hosting service, gone bad.
Unfortunately that's how the story goes for many of these "instant" sites. They don't always turn out to be what they proclaim themselves to be. And lack of technical know-how can prove to be a stumbling block for the average business owner to achieve the elegant site their business deserves.
For Nectar of the Vine, they were getting plenty of web site traffic, and knew these technical ails were rendering their site unusable and unfriendly, negatively affecting their brand and customer experience. They also faced the challenge of keeping up with orders as the only way one could purchase was to call, and after various expos and trade shows they were being inundated with calls for orders. Being a small, family-owned business, the undue pressure to keep up with orders while trying to manage daily operations was taking its toll. They were looking to turn their website into a venue for customers to place orders automatically.
rkstudio6 collaborated with Nectar of the Vine to cast a vision for the new site, understand needs and determine goals. As a small business, it was important to economize, so we capitalized on what they already had in print and created a web site design in keeping with the look of their current marketing materials. We also improved the site to showcase the quality and prestige of Nectar of the Vine products. We then put the website to work to capture orders for them through a simple e-commerce solution, and optimized the site for optimal placement in organic search engine results.
Since the launch of the website on March 10th, just one month ago, they have already seen over 1,000 visits and many orders [update: and as of the end of August, are placing well in search engines too]. We are pleased to be a part of their website success, making doing business for them a little easier. We wish them every success!
